After School Art Class

These students at St. Paul Lutheran School in McAllen enjoy the opportunity to develop their artistic abilities beyond regular art classes by enrolling in an Art Class that meets after school on Tuesdays for two hours. The class is taught by Mr. Edmond Mirza who operates the Young Masters Art & Chess Academy in McAllen. Shown below are students displaying their paintings from one recent session. They also learned some French while painting as Mr. Mirza speaks several languages fluently. Students are learning to use different art mediums including pencil, paint, chalk, and charcoal.
