Welcome to St. Paul Lutheran Childcare Center!

Our goal is to provide a safe and loving Christian environment that helps your child feel secure, loved and included. Our desire is that your child would grow and develop spiritually, physically, emotionally, mentally and socially.

St. Paul Lutheran Childcare Center is fully licensed under the State of Texas’ Department of Family and Protective and Regulatory Services. We have two full-time directors and all of our teachers are certified and undergo an extensive background check. Soccer Shots

soccer shots

Soccer Shots is a great enrichment program for children within the Rio Grand Valley that will be a huge opportunity for children and their future. Aside from soccer skills, the children can learn social, public, and life skills that will make a positive impact in the community.


kinder dance

Kinderdance (Ages 3-5) is a program that incorporates dance/movement and fitness tough in levels, stressing the basics of Ballet, Tap, Acrobatics, Motor Skills and Creative Dance while blending educational concepts.


Kindertots(Age 2) is a program designed to develop Gross Motor Skills, Movement Creativity, Tumbling, Physical Development, Body and Social Awareness, while learning numbers, colors, shapes and songs.

Hours of Operation

St. Paul Lutheran Childcare Center is open Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm. The center is open during Spring, Summer, and Christmas breaks with the exceptions of the days listed below.

Do the childcare children need to wear uniform?

No, the children that attend our childcare are not required to wear uniform.

Are the teachers trained in CPR and First Aid?

Yes, all our teachers are required by St. Paul Childcare and Texas Child Care Licensing to be CPR and First Aid Certified.

Are we able to visit your children at any time?

Yes, St. Paul has an open door policy and parents are welcome to come at any time.

What is your tuition?

Here at St. Paul we have different options to accommodate you. We have full-time and part- time. We welcome you to come in and pick up an enrollment package to see our different fees.

Does the St. Paul Childcare provide educational activities for the children?

Yes, St. Paul provides A Beka Book curriculum for the 18 months – 3 year olds and Horizon for our 4 - 5 year olds. Both curriculums are Christian based curriculums.

Do we need to bring in lunch or snacks for our children?

No, St. Paul Childcare provides lunch, morning and afternoon snacks for the children. The fee is included in the in the monthly tuition. You are always welcome to bring your child lunch or snack if you feel that your child might not like what is been served that day.

Do the children have outdoor play?

Yes, we have a great coverd playground that the children are taken to twice a day (morning and afternoon), if the weather permits. If they are unable to go outside the school has a gym that the children are able to use.

Does my child have to be at the center at 7:00 am?

No, you may bring your child at any time you wish. We have an open door policy. Keep in mind, lunch is served 11:00am - 11:30am and nap time is 12:00pm - 2:30pm.

Will my child attend chapel?

Yes, every age group attends chapel on Thursdays, and Ms. Jessica Finely or Pastor Lorenz will share the lesson of the week.

Is my child taught about God/Jesus in the classroom?

Yes, being a Christian Childcare, the children have Jesus time every day in their room. Children are read a Bible story and are able to talk about what they learn with their classmates.

What does my child need to start at St. Paul?

  1. You need to complete and return the Application Packet, available in the Childcare office
  2. Your child's immunizations must to be up-to-date
  3. If your child has not attended childcare before, they will need to have a TB skin test before they attend the center

Does my child go to the library?

Yes, every age group goes to the library every Friday were their teacher read them a story.

Does St. Paul Childcare take CCMS?

No, sorry our center does not take CCMS.
