Music

In worship we discover how deeply committed our God is to us.   This ministry of music and worship encompasses everyone from beginners to professionals.  Our participation in music ministry helps us to grow together as a worshipping community by proclaiming the Gospel using God’s good gift of music. Here are some ways that you can become involved in this powerful ministry:

Children’s Choir: For grades 2-6. This group is led by Katie Drefs and Marianne Vestweber and features music, snacks, and games. The children’s choir meets every Tuesday night at 6PM at St. Paul and sings in worship about twice per month.

Saint Paul Singers: This is our choir for ages 14-99. If you are a part of this group, you will experience a wide variety of music, be encouraged and supported in prayer, and get to know some really great people.  Our music night begins with thirty minutes of fellowship at 6PM, followed by rehearsal. Saint Paul Singers sings in worship about twice per month.

Handbells: If have some music background and would like to participate in worship through instrumental music, then this may be the group for you. The handbell choir meets at 7:30 on Tuesday nights and plays in worship on a regular basis.

Worship band: If you play guitar, drums, bass, or another pop/rock instrument, you may be interested in accompanying the congregation of St. Paul as they praise their God. See Tim Shewmaker to set up an audition and get on the rotation.

Instrumentalists: If you play any band or orchestra instrument, please contact Tim Shewmaker and let him know that you would love to use your talents in worship.  We would love to incorporate your talents into the proclamation and praise of the Divine Service.
